Russian bloodbath in Bucha, Ukraine

In Bucha, a town in the Kyiv region that the Russian army has abandoned, Ukrainian soldiers discovered a mass grave where about 300 civilians were buried. According to reports, some had their hands tied behind their backs. The mass grave can be seen on satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies.

In addition to the mass grave, Ukrainian soldiers discovered naked bodies of several women lying by the roadside. According to reports from the Ukrainian side, the Russians had earlier tried to burn them. "These were civilians. It was an execution," Ukrainian presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov said.

Iryna Venediktova, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, who participates in the investigative activities in the Kyiv suburbs of Bucha, Irpin and Hostoml, reported that forensic-medical examinations are being carried out there with the participation of prosecutors and forensic experts. As she pointed out, more than 400 bodies have been taken away so far.

"Russians are stupefied by propaganda, and Russia has become a fascist state", said Roman Cymbaluk, a Ukrainian journalist. According to the former Moscow correspondent of the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency, neither the Russian elites nor the Russian society understands the importance of such values as human life, freedom, sovereignty and democracy.

Roman Cymbaluk stressed that he is horrified to see how children in Russia are taught to be ready to die for Vladimir Putin. He also argues that today, Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are being murdered. Tomorrow the Russian authorities will murder their citizens. "All the citizens of Russia will bathe in blood if you do not stop this. You should not think about us but about yourselves because there is only one option - Ukraine was, is and will be".

The European Union has condemned Russia for the massacre of civilians in the town near Kyiv, and the Community is discussing further sanctions. The first discussion of EU ambassadors on the topic will be on Wednesday.
